My goal is to craft more with 16 month old D so I set up this contact paper Easter egg craft for him!
I taped two egg shaped pieces of contact paper sticky side up on his high chair tray. He had bits of colored ribbon and hole punched paper confetti pieces to explore.
As he investigated every bit he was working his fine motor skills and decorating his egg at the same time!
I loved watching him explore as he created his craft. E was at preschool when we did this so she was shocked when she came home to learn that D could craft too and he make something without her!
When he was done I sandwiched the contact paper pieces together and put a piece of construction paper around the border. It looks great in the window as a fun Easter decoration!
