This week's #playfulpreschool theme is Kindness so I uploaded a photo of our preschooler E with her grandma who she calls Mutti. She picked our love themed details from PicMonkey. Next we discussed what her Mutti does for her that shows kindness and love. Just like in our homeschool preschool journal writing, E thought of her sentence and typed it out using the words she knows how to spell and sounding out the rest. She loved the added incentive of typing on my laptop!
When she was done we had a pretty and fun kindness note to send via email! I explained how she was showing kindness in return by telling people what she loves about them. What a motivating writing prompt for all of us to treasure forever! These would be lovely for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or birthdays, too.
