Foam Stickers Process Art

We might be addicted to process art at our house! Our latest project is super simple using foam stickers and a rolling pin to create print making painting with the kids. There is a ton of fun fine motor work involved, too!

Foam stickers, a rolling pin, and paint create the perfect process art invitation for kids! I love how this art station is set up and provides lots of fine motor work!

We chose flower stickers but you can use whatever type of foam stickers you have that your kids love to create themed prints. I invited the kids to take off the paper from the back of the stickers. They placed the stickers all over our plastic kid sized rolling pin. (I just love photos like this of them working together so closely!)

We taped wax paper to the counter and squirted some acrylic paint onto it. Next time I might spread the paint into a smooth layer first but the kids just rolled the stickers right in the paint.

Then they rolled the rolling pin on to their paper. The colors blended beautifully as the flowers stamped on to the page.

It was a bright and cheery process art station that I'm sure your kids won't be able to resist either!

Our daughter loved experimenting with what happened as she changed directions with the rolling pin on her paper. She was working her hand, arm, and wrist muscles was creating process art!
