Capture Your Grief 2013 - Color

Obvious, isn't it?  Purple reminds of us Violet.

When shopping for clothing for her, I read somewhere that babies like ours shouldn't wear blue or purple because if they are sick and dying those colors can make them look worse.  Of course, I wanted to buy her purple everything, but with that stuck in my head, I chose white with tiny purple details, pink and white, and browns.

She looked great in everything she wore.  I am most grateful, though, for this sweater.  She looked beautiful in the purple.  I love the hippo buttons, too!

It was hand knit just for Violet by our favorite nurse, Barb.
