Fall Scene Diorama

Using a recycled gift box, E created her first diorama this weekend!

First, she painted the grass and sky.  She could hardly wait for the paint to dry to continue working on the project.  She asked several times if it was ready yet so this activity was highly motivating for her!

She added 3D foam turkey stickers (and their tail feathers) provided by our neighbor BFFs.

When we dug through my sticker stash and found fall leaves, she wanted to add a tree.  We tore and twisted brown paper to create the 3D tree trunk and branches.

Then E had to wait a bit more for the glue to dry.  She added flying turkeys and pumpkins to pass the time!  

At last, she put the finishing touches on the autumn tree with a bit of assistance from D.

It looks very festive in our window for Thanksgiving!
