When I opened the classroom pack of IncredibleFoam Dough that they sent us I was amazed by the variety of colors! This dough is reusable, won't dry out, and it's non-toxic! My preschooler and I wanted to dive right in! Even my husband came home and asked if he could take a pack to keep at his desk at work when he saw it! It is recommended for children age 3 and up, but my toddler enjoyed it with careful supervision so I am very glad I gave him the opportunity! Instead of overwhelming this post with my excitement and exclamation marks I'll show you through pictures all we've done (so far)!
1. Explore - We couldn't keep our hands (and feet) off of this amazing sensory dough!
No person adult or child alike will be able to resist this dough. It is the perfect substance for sensory exploration (especially if you have a child who is reluctant about messy play like my toddler).
I had a former student who loved using sticky tak as a fidget toy in my classroom. Immediately upon touching the IncredibleFoam Dough I knew that this would make the perfect fidget for a student who needs tactile stimulation during class.

2. Learn - IncredibleFoam Dough immediately lends itself to academic concepts to reinforce lesson plans.
We took a bit of several colors to mix together into a rainbow ball. This would be the pefect visual representation of a heterogeneous mixture in the classroom!
My preschooler thought the white dough looked exactly like snow so she used her Safari Ltd. North American animals to review our lesson plan on camouflage!
3. Fine Motor Play - The minute a child touches this dough they are engaging in fine motor exercise. I used a few activities to increase the work my kids had to do with their hands while playing.
My toddler loves rocks lately! I hid his beloved rocks in the foam dough so he had to dig them out to free them! We also pushed our Safari Ltd. animals into the dough and pulled them back out using a pincer grasp.
4. Sculpt - The possibilities are endless!
We made trees for our small world play scenes! My daughter also wanted to make letters so I was thrilled with with literacy involved with that.
5. Float - One of our favorite properties of IncredibleFoam dough is that it floats in water!
We made a duck on a perfectly windy day so the breeze allowed him to travel back and forth in his pool of water! E has already made plans to try this again with turtles, dolphins, and mermaids!
6. Entertain - IncredibleFoam Dough doesn't stick to surfaces or crumble into tiny bits! It is perfect to keep a child busy while you need a few minutes to complete a task. It is perfect to take to a restaurant because unlike play dough it won't make a mess!
7. Craft - There are so many ways to create!
8. Build - This is a building toy that you've never experienced before!
I made blocks for my preschooler. Since the dough sticks to itself she had great success building structures that would have otherwise frustrated her!
9. Accessorize - Of course we had to create some bling for ourselves!
Discount School Supply included 3-D Sticker Gems in our shipment so E immediately wanted to make a crown and jewelry! The amazing dough didn't leave a residue on her skin or hair.
10. Glow - We found two ways to make the IncredibleFoam Dough glow!
The most exciting feature of the IncredibleFoam Dough was the glow-in-the-dark variety! Above is a before and after picture with the lights dimmed then turned off so you can see just how vibrantly it glows!
I had a suspicion that the neon glitter dough would be black light reflective and it glows! We has a blast experimenting with the dough under a black light. We created space scenes and had a totally different sensory experience!
You can purchase this IncredibleFoam Dough in several size packages. I love that the colors come individually wrapped as bricks as they would make the perfect birthday gift, travel toy, prize, or stocking stuffer for children!
This is truly the most exciting product we have ever reviewed. I am amazed at how versatile, reusable, and enjoyable this dough is for our whole family!
