The Frozen obsession continues at our house so we created DIY Elsa gloves for Frozen inspired gross motor and fine motor pretend play!

Putting on gloves requires quite a bit of fine motor work and patience for preschoolers! We used this activity to make self dressing practice fun instead of stressful as we're heading out the door at the last minute.
We got these snowflake kids gloves at our local dollar store. You could also use fabric paint to draw snowflakes on plain gloves. Tuck scarves in icy colors into the cuffs and you instantly have homemade Elsa gloves!

And, of course, the best part is when Elsa rips her gloves off but continues her Frozen magic anyway!
These are the same rainbow scarves we used last week for our Fine Motor Rainbow Ball. We've been having endless gross motor fun with them!
Our toddler wanted to join us. "Me Elsa, too!" he said. The cold never bothered him either!
What a great way to get energy out while we are stuck inside! I couldn't take enough of these fun action shots. Holding on to the scarves, pulling the gloves off, and throwing them was also fun fine motor work for her!
