Our little guy is absolutely play dough obsessed! I knew he'd love this invitation to create play dough monsters. I provided a few simple materials and he did the rest! What kid can resist a fun monster?

For this month's Book Club Play Date we read Leonardo the Terrible Monster! It's a super adorable story about a monster who isn't as scary as his friends. We just had to create our own monsters of all types and personalities, too!
I set out play dough, googly eyes, teeth cut from craft foam, a chop stick, and a straw. Our two year old was busy for the afternoon making several different monsters. He would describe their looks and personalities! "This purple monster has sharp teeth! He is mean! The red monster has one eye and he is friendly!"
