Last week we used LEGO DUPLOS to make plural nouns. This time we got out our alphabet stamps because stamping always makes a hands on educational activity more fun while working in extra fine motor practice, too!

I created a sheet that listed nouns. Our daughter had to decide if she would stamp an -s or an -es ending to make each word plural. She couldn't wait to get her hands on the alphabet stamps and ink pad! Look at that eager face!
As she worked, she occasionally checked the directions at the top of the paper. This was a fun hands on review to learning how to spell plural nouns.
Of course, you could have children simply write in the ending for each plural noun, too! You can get your copy of this Plural Nouns Sheet here. ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing hands on activity. It certainly makes you think about what is needed at the end of the word. Plus how grown up does your daughter suddenly look!
