Kids love dinosaurs! We've created dinosaur report sheets that you can use a a template for dino reports. Both of our children went through a phase where dinosaurs were absolutely fascinating (and to be honest, I think I'm still in that phase as an adult) so we decided to use that to inspire a bit of reading and writing practice.
We read Dinosaurs Before Dark which is the first book in the Magic Treehouse Series. (Be sure to check back in a few weeks for an activity for the next book as well!)
In the series, Jack and Annie are whisked away by the magic of the tree house to the time of dinosaurs!

I created a dinosaur bio sheet for kids to report as if they have traveled along with Annie and Jack. The sheet is available for you below!
The dinosaur report worksheet includes the name of the dinosaur. whether it is a herbivore or carnivore, and a place for behavior notes.
Both our first grader and fourth grader drew a dinosaur and wrote about it. I can't wait to read more Magic Treehouse books!
